Journeys in Life
This week we lost my dear friend and APS partner Linda Bolton. We are all deeply saddened and heartbroken to lose her.
Linda was diagnosed with multiple myeloma about 6 years ago and began her journey through a grueling bone marrow transplant and all the chemo and meds that accompanied that. She won that battle and was in full remission for over 2 years. But cancer has a way of coming back at you, and she ended up fighting MDS, a type of blood cancer that was the rare result of the chemo treatments she received during her first journey. I know that she fought hard to win this battle with blood cancer but her body was too weak. She had a strong spirit and a great sense of humor. I know she suffered much during her journey but never lost her smile and concern for others.
Linda was instrumental in starting Aging in Place Transition Services as my partner and had compassion and concern for our clients. Those who knew her will miss her greatly. Please pray for her family as they navigate their lives with this huge loss.
